Ensuring requested opt-in email is delivered to subscriber inboxes is an increasingly difficult battle in the age of spam filtering. Open and click thru response rates can be dramatically affected by as much as 20-30% due to incorrect spam filter classification.

Permission

Confirming that the people who ask for your information have actually requested to be on your list is the number one step in the battle for deliverability. You should be using a process called confirmed opt-in or verified opt-in to send a unique link to the attempted subscriber when they request information. Before adding the person to your list they must click that unique link verifying that they are indeed the same person that owns the email address and requested to subscribe.

Subscriber Addresses

When requesting website visitors to opt-in ask for their “real” or “primary” email address instead of a free email address like Yahoo or Hotmail. Free emails tend to be throw away accounts and typically have a shorter lifetime than a primary ISP address.

List Maintenance

Always promptly remove undeliverable addresses that bounce when sending email to them. An address that bounces with a permanent error 2-3 times in a 30 day period should be removed from the list. ISP’s track what percentage of your newsletters bounce and will block them if you attempt to continually deliver messages to closed subscriber mailboxes.

Message Format

Usage of HTML messages to allow for text formatting, multiple columns, images, and brand recognition is growing in popularity and is widely supported by most email client software. Most spam is also HTML formatted and thus differentiating between requested email and spam HTML messages can be difficult. Your web business probably gets product inquiries from potential customers around the globe. Inquiries come via e-mail and your web site, and you try to send information to each hot prospect as quickly as you can. But, after you’ve delivered that first bit of information to your prospect, do you send him any further information?

If you are like most Internet marketers, you don’t.

When you don’t follow that initial message with additional information later on, you let a valuable prospect slip from your grasp! This is a potential customer who may have been very interested in your products, but who lost your contact information, or was too busy to make a purchase when your first message reached him.

Often, a prospect will purposely put off making a purchase, to see if you find him important enough to follow up with later. When he doesn’t receive a follow up message from you, he will take his business elsewhere.

Are you losing profits due to inconsistent and ineffective follow up?

Following up with leads is more than just a process – it’s an art. In order to be effective, you need to design a follow up system, and stick to it, EVERY DAY! If you don’t follow up with your prospects consistently, INDIVIDUALLY, and in a timely fashion, then you might as well forget the whole follow up process.

Consistent follow up gets results!

When I first started marketing and following up with prospects, I used a follow up method that I now call the “List Technique.” I had a large database containing the names and e-mail addresses of people who had specifically requested information about my products and services. These prospects had already received my first letter by the time they requested more information, so I used the company’s latest news as a follow up piece.

I would write follow up newsletters every now and then, and send them, in one mass mailing, to everyone who had previously requested information from me. While this probably did help me win a few additional orders, it wasn’t a very good follow up method. Why isn’t the “List Technique” very effective?

  • The List Technique isn’t consistent. Proponents of the List Technique tend to only send out follow up messages when their companies have “big news”.
  • List Technique messages don’t give the potential customer any additional information about the product or service in question. He can’t make a more informed buying decision after receiving a newsletter! If someone is wondering whether your company sells the best knick-knacks, what does he care that you’ve just moved your headquarters?
  • List Technique messages convey a “big list” mentality to your potential customers. When I used to write follow up messages using the List Technique, I was writing news bulletins to everyone I knew! I should have been sending a personal message to each individual who wanted to know more about my products.

What follow up method really works?

Following up with each lead individually, multiple times, but at set intervals, and with pre-written messages, will dramatically increase sales! Others who use this same technique confirm that they have all at least doubled the sales of various products! In order to set this system up, though, you need to do some planning.

First, you’ll need to develop your follow up messages. If you’ve been marketing on the Internet for any length of time, then you should already have a first informative letter. Your second letter marks the beginning of the follow up process, and should go into more detail than the first letter. Fill this letter with details that you didn’t have the space to add to the first letter. Stress the BENEFITS of your products or services!

Your next 2-3 follow up messages should be rather short. Include lists of the benefits and potential uses of your products and services. Write each letter so that your prospects can skim the contents, and still see the full force of your message.

The next couple of follow up messages should create a sense of urgency in your prospect’s mind. Make a special offer, giving him a reason to order NOW instead of waiting any longer. After reading these follow up messages, your prospect should want to order immediately!

Phrase each of your final 1 or 2 follow up messages in the form of a question. Ask your prospect why he hasn’t yet placed an order? Try to get him to actually respond. Ask if the price is to high, the product isn’t the right color or doesn’t have the right features, or if he is looking for something else entirely. (By this time, it’s unlikely that this person will order from you. However, his feedback can help you modify your follow up letters or products, so that other prospects will order from you.)

The timing of your follow up letters is just as important as their content. You don’t want one prospect to receive a follow up the day after he gets your initial informative letter, while another prospect waits weeks for a follow up!

Always send an initial, informative letter as soon as it is requested, and send the first follow up 24 hours afterwards. You want your hot prospects to have information quickly, so that they can make informed buying decisions!

Send the next 2-3 follow up messages between 1 and 3 days apart. Your prospect is still hot, and is probably still shopping around! Tell him about the benefits of your products and services, as opposed to your competitors’. You will make the sale!

Send the final follow up messages later on. You certainly don’t want to annoy your prospect! Make sure that these last letters are at least 4 days apart.

Following up effectively seems complicated, but it doesn’t have to be! So many potential customers are lost because of poor follow up – don’t you want to be one of the few to get it right?

On that day, as usual, getting to sunburn and photograph under the sunlight, travelled around the pit stop area to discover the mechanics' work and nevertheless is the RACEQUEEN! I have met Franklene and Felixia Yeap and others as a racequeen on that day. Nice to see you! Besides, I'm able to go through the racetrack by myself just for 5 minutes before the race started.

My personal love story but not "in love" story - A failure love for me ( Chinese version)

现在,我算是第一次在这里发表长长的文章, 其实目的是为了宣泄,更加了解自己,也然别人了解我,不再对我有很多的疑惑。 现在也想写一写关于我的感情世界方面,到底是如何的一个现实,一一为大家公开。 说到我的感情世界里,简单来说,起头,不是很顺利,且遭到不少的麻烦和困扰。记得当初5年级之际,有一位女同学,叫作颖娴,因为帮我有功,所以很想感激她,帮助了她一些功课上的麻烦,以她的聪明,我都比不上。但,不知不觉已经喜欢上她,但是,竟然那个时候的家豪就杀出来,说他我才是真正爱她的人,还说少来与她交往,就此,我就退缩了,与她等于打了冷战。

说到中学,波折重重,谣言纷飞,真的很难生存。初中二之际,有一位女生,叫作文慧,因与她有缘,所以一起补习的同学们,就开始对我做出了询问,只是说与她有缘但是想爱她?哈~不可能吧~然后死党们三反四次推波助澜之下,在她面前打个招呼,甚至说说是不是喜欢她。这个招供,很尴尬,很难为情。实在不知如何,接下来的日子,就只有躲避。接下来的高中一,也只有在大集会时见到。

另外,初中二勇班,也就是我的班级,我有一位好友叫作泉沐,他的女朋友就是与我在初一时同一个校车巴士的巴友吧,也就是现在各位所认识的 Tiffany Tan,她本人很随和,很开朗,与她交谈,可说是很荣幸,对她的感觉也特别舒服和豪爽的,自此,我开始暗恋了她。自从她留级后,我不懂到底她有没有继续努力往上爬,结果是有,不过在我的学习生涯中,感觉上,她无心向学了,且交到不知明,像那种出来“混”的男朋友,一交也交过不少了,我升得越高,与她见面也只有40%的几率,只在巴士见面,给了她一些忠告和劝导,当时的她,也点头,不过事后也不得而知。到后来,2009年的某一月,自从我当了小小摄影发烧友后,在一个比赛重见她的面貌,感到十分意外,还问自己,这是她吗?怎么变得那么美呢?转战模特儿界的她,未来想当个司仪,口齿伶俐,桌球技高超,可想她多强。7年了,暗恋了她很久,但往往没机会表达我的倾慕之情,于是,我提起胆子,送了花给她,她也接受了。只是这几个星期,仍然未有动向。最近也因有了男友之际,使我觉得有点失望。很多很多网友都一直追问我关于她的事,有多了解她。答案是没错,我有很多关于她习性都记在脑海了,而且,我还是一样那么爱她,几年了。Thomas 还问我,如果她有了男友,你是否还爱她?最后答她,YES! Vyner,Martial还有很多很多的朋友也曾经向我说,不管她是否有男友,只要您爱她,就勇敢去爱,去试一试,就算没有了,也没损失。是,虽然意志坚定,但始终是我没有做到任何一件事令她开心。这事情,未来自有定夺。多次在网友前写出很多忠告或是心中不满,但是我不应该,这样只是破坏了我对她的印象,但忠告里,也有一些人生道理,想默默地要她了解......我也不知道,到底现在的她,还是和以前那样,在恋爱当中,一样那么有压力?

上到了高中一时,因很开心地玩在一起的慧琦,就这样开始了一个傻乎乎的小感情,但是,还是谣言作怪,加上其他人的坏话,我顿时感到很无奈和自卑,加上到了高中二时,也只有偷偷地观望。每次跨过她的班级,就是想望一望她,看看在做什么。到了食堂,也有80%几率看见她,而且是很偶然的看到,每次心跳加速,到底她会往哪里而去?到底会否看到我呢?会否与我打个招呼呢?事与愿违,始终也只有远望,不能接近,一次又一次的割破自己的心。令我感到很痛苦,只是和身边的好友宣泄。过了高中二的SPM考试,我还是有留意她在学院的动向,也是一样,那么奢侈,那么享受,一点也不需要受苦的人。到了去到澳洲之际,也交了一个印裔男朋友,很多人说,浪费了。但,对我来说,这个时候的她,也找到了幸福,也放手让她继续往前进。

到了大学,解禁我对女人的偏见已经开始了,想好好地谈恋爱,但始终怨天尤人,到现在也无法找到一个女朋友,连一个吻,一个搂抱,一句“我爱你”,也未曾作过,多多少少,在出征拍摄时,也对过不少美女,说了很多甜蜜的句子,也哄了她们开怀大笑,甚至是搂抱,也有了。但是,这并不代表开始学习如何泡妞谈恋爱,而是我长大了,不像以前那样守规矩,但是目前也是有的,只是自由了很多。有人说我幽默,我并不觉得我有幽默感,有人说我是好人,但我并不是个好人,有人说我现在出名了,但并不出名,因为何来出名?现在我的感情世界,历经很多不同的波折,了解不少,朋友的照顾,关怀,慰问,使我也重拾信心,但仍然过不了自己那关的,还是我自己的胆量。更是,我竟然没有付出过任何一个代价,就好像被感情判了死刑。几乎天天抱着悲观的心情面对爱情,面对众人,我惟有笑笑,暂时隐瞒心中之苦,回到家,也只有哭在心里。曾经不哭的我,最后还是为了一个她,而掉落眼泪,感慨自己没付出,感叹自己没胆量,自责为何我不去告白,责怪自己没有好好珍惜机会,用心和真诚打动她,然而,我的动作,就是个白费,连垃圾也不如。不过,反复思考,我的脑子给了我一个启示,机会几时有,但要抓紧,脱了后,是不会再有第二次。 我希望,以后,我还是能以坚定的姿态,迎接爱情的到来。想要更多的第一次,虽然从来没有爱情中的拍拖,搂抱,吻嘴等的动作,但我要以忠诚之心,为爱付出一切,运用我的知识,灌输于她的脑子里,运用我的一切,奉献于未来的她。 愿苍天,保佑。

Studio Shoot - The First Ever Touch














When semester started, there is a subject called Digital Imaging. And required to work more on the studio shooting. Well, firstly sounds fun. But, it's not an easy job, firstly you have to know what kind of equipment you have to use in studio, secondly you have to know how to measuring using light metre for correct exposure , thirdly in studio, besides the place is quite small and limited unlike the outdoor, you need something good gear in studio, so I have purchased EF 70-200mm f/4L USM.
当学期已开始时,我们有一个科目,就是数码影像,所要做多的是在摄影棚里做功课。开始时,看起来很好玩的。但是,这不是一件容易的工作。第一,要知道和了解摄影棚里的器材,方能使用。第二,要如何运用测光器准确量出正确的曝光。第三,在摄影棚里,地方很小,不像户外那么宽,需要一些好的装备,我就选购了 EF 70-200mm f/4L USM.


The reason I purchased this lens is because it is a good portrait lens and also a good telephoto lens for medium range. Besides, since it is a "L" lens, the first production in Canon 70-200mm series, it is quite sharp and perfectly clear in image. Also, this lens also good for sports and birding too. It's really happy to own this.
买这个镜头的主要原因是因为它是个很好的人像镜头,而且是很好的中程变焦镜头。另外,除了因为它是“L”系列的镜头以外,这镜头也是佳能 70-200毫米变焦镜头系列中第一个推出的类型。而且照片很尖锐和清晰。此外,这个镜头本身在运动和鸟类拍摄都很适合。很开心能拥有此物。

Back to the topic, it's quite challenging in studio shooting, have to repeat and repeat the shot when we have make mistake. Also, we have to measure correctly or calculate the perfect exposure to the subject in order to make a good picture. A lot of subject that I've shot in this long journey of studio shooting.
回归正题,在摄影棚拍摄绝对是一件很有挑战性的事,当我们做错,需要不断地重复拍摄直到对为止。另外,我们也必须测量准确的曝光或计算对的曝光程度以产生出好的照片。这长时间的拍摄工作中也拍了不少作品。

Overall, teamwork have made us success all the way, besides in individual work , we have share the knowledge and help each other in producing good work. Although it is a very tough journey, I believed in photography world, nothing is impossible.
总的来说,团队工作是我们成功。至于个人作业,我们也互相交换意见和知识,互相帮助其他人一起合作完成任务。虽然是一个艰辛的旅程,我相信在摄影世界里,没有什么是不可能的。

Lolita Outing - Share of Japanese Culture










30 May 2009, this is after I go to shoot Rose Chin, the 2nd place I need to go , which is the lolita outing organized by the ORANGE , the organizer of the lolita outing. For your info, lolita outing is my first ever experience with the lolita fashion lover in KL , and I'm quite surprised with all the fashion that I love for the long time.
5月30日,Rose Chin的拍摄工作完成后,第二个地方要去的就是洛莉塔服装聚会,由ORANGE特别主办。告诉大家,这是我第一次和她们一起团聚在一起,而且感到非常的惊喜万分,因为这个时尚是我长久以来很喜欢的一个文化。

According the lolita lovers, there is 4 types : 1) Sweet Lolita , 2) Classical Lolita , 3) Country Lolita or Kaneko Lolita , 4) Gothic Lolita. These 4 types have different personality and feel too.
Also, Lolita IS NOT a COSPLAY . This is different thing from the fashion trend and cosplay definition.
根据洛丽塔时尚玩家的资料,共分4种:1)甜蜜型 2)古典型 3)田园风型 4)歌德式,这四种各有不同的风味和感觉。另外,洛丽塔时尚不能与角色扮演相提并论,因为定义是完全相反的。

That day may be use a lot of battery , so when shoot the last photo, the battery was die out , and quite disappointed too. Gladly, I'm able to shoot some photo for them, but not all, next time I will do more best since I'm keep on improved the skill although there is a lot of negative comments and statement have pounded for many times. Overall, it is a stunning outing that attracted a lot of attention during we walked at MidValley area, over hundred of peoples witnessed this massive group of the outing.
那一天,因为用太多电源的关系,当拍下最后一张照片时,电源已经没了,而且极度失望。但庆幸的是我还是能拍下一些珍贵的照片,虽不是很多,但是下次我会拍得更多,且我的技术一直不断地更新和进步,只是一直以来都受到很多负面的打击。总的来说,这是一个很出色的团聚活动,也吸引不少在谷中城的围观者的注意,超过百人以上亲眼见证了这个历史性庞大的团队。

China Military Parade Rehearsal 中国国庆彩排





























Eve of the Hari Raya, I was followed with the Reuter reporter to get some story about the China Military Parade Rehearsal. I was darn too happy and I never go any country before, is like dream comes true. The flight ticket to Beijing is ready and fly to there. Arrived at afternoon.
开斋节前夕,我跟随一个Reuter的记者去到北京采访关于中国国庆即将彩排的事项。我简直开心的不得了,从来没出国的我终于有机会了,简直梦想成真了!飞往北京的航班机票已经好了,然后下午飞到北京。

Why I can go ? Everyone asked this question , actually that Reuter reporter invited me to have a special journey with him and help him complete the task. Well, before that I was disagree, but then is the big chance to see the power of China, so I agree finally.
为什么我能去?很多再问这个问题,那个Reuter记者邀请我与他在这个特别旅程一起完成这个采访工作。起初,我没有答应他,但最后想了想,想要看看中国繁盛强大的国家,最后我答应了。

The security there quite tight at all , and everyone must check before they entered the place. And I'm glad to see the People Liberation Army have their rehearsal in very well organize, timing totally correct , the action also precise.
那里的保安深严,每个人需要检查才能入境。我很开心能看到人民解放军以整齐的正步之步伐,“走百米不差分毫,走百步不差分秒”的境界,和动作全部整齐一致。

When the time step to the night time , 1am , the rehearsal of all formation of soldiers and armour vehicles is started. Everything is a perfect scene, and perfect walk and timing to all the military personnel. The rehearsal ended with the singing formation which in theme of the 4 Chairman of China Communist Party.
当时间踏入凌晨一点,彩排开始了,所有步兵方阵和装甲车方阵都开始起步。整个画面简直完美无暇,每一个战士的步伐都做到整齐一致。彩排最后在歌唱方阵以中共四个领导人思想为主题的表演下结束。

In the morning, I also able to watch the China Air Force have their rehearsal at the skyline of Beijing TianAnMen Square. All flight formation is perfect and I love the sound of the jet engine. J-10 fighter and YJ-2000 Airborne Early Warning and Control plane is the main focus in this rehearsal. Before I left Beijing, I snap as much as photo that I can.
早上时分,我还能看到中国空军梯队的彩排跨过北京天安门上空。所有梯队都整齐飞过,我也爱上了它们的引擎声。歼-10 战机和预警-2000是这次彩排的主要焦点。在我还未离开北京之前,多多拍下几张照片。

Overall, it is a big success for this trip and I safely returned to Malaysia and reunite with family at Genting Highland. Thanks to that Reuter reporter and I'm able to shoot this historical event at 21st century.
总结来说,这是一个很成功的旅程,还安全地回到大马与家人在云顶高原团聚。谢谢那位Reuter记者让我有机会拍摄这个21世纪最有历史性的节日。

BON ODORI 2009 盆踊舞会
























Stadium Matsushita, Shah Alam , where every year have a massive event there , Bon Odori festival. This time the peoples are getting more and more , and I have also met with all the Comic Fiesta forumers, together we play together.
松下体育馆,莎亚南,每一年都会举办大型的节日,盆踊舞会。这次的盛会超级多人,而且还和一大班动漫一族一起狂欢。

Everyone join together and dance together , photographers are busy to capture every best moment they can. Dancers and drummers performed their best of the best to the audiences. That night, I can't use other word to explain, BEST!
每一个人都一起来团聚跳舞,摄影人就忙着捕抓珍贵的镜头,舞者和鼓手都使出浑身解数发挥最好的给观众。那一夜,没有别的字能形容,赞!


Chong Hwa KL Academic Event - I'm return once again




















Return to my old secondary school, Chong Hwa Independent High School, is like once again I back here for study , but this time sure not , attending this Academic Event to see what achievement that the students made these days.
回到我的中学母校,中华独中,就像是我重回来读书吧~!但是这次不是,是出席中华学术展,看看中华生们这次创下了什么佳绩。

A lot of kinds of show and performance have been made by the society . Besides , almost every class have shown their best of the best artwork and even demonstration of the stuff they made .
很多种学会的表演都一一为大家呈现。另外,几乎每一个班级都向大家展示了很多作品及示范。

This event also like a reunion party, almost every friends of mine that we met before have came back and reunite together, because we knew that we've miss each other. Friendship of every former Chong Hwa students that never end.
这个学术展也像是个团聚派对,几乎每一位曾经与我相逢的朋友们终于回来一起聚首于中华母校,我们知道我们中华生的友谊是不会结束的,而且还很挂念对方。

Overall, it is a successful event . And glad to chat with other friends , even meet some teachers that have teach me before, I'm truly honoured.
总的来说,这是一个很成功的盛会。很开心能与一班好友一起交谈,还探访了很多曾经教过我的恩师,感觉很庆幸。

Cameron Highland - The Land of Heaven



































Few weeks ago, I was heading to the Cameron Highland for the first time. The road was like zig-zag spin non-stop for an hour. Besides, the mountain quite high and unbelievable far from the city.
几个星期前,我第一次往金马仑高原进发。道路崎岖无比,转啊转已经一个多小时。另外,这个山也挺高且非常远得惊人。

Halfway of the road, I getting the chance to see the legendary waterfall at the mountain too. Have some photograph there , and continue the journey to the mountain . Just felt a bit dizzy because it is different with the Genting Highland that I went the most.
中途,我还有机会欣赏山上中的一个传奇瀑布呢~ 在那儿拍一些照片,继续往高山进发。感觉有点晕或呕吐,因为这种上山的感觉有异于我经常去的云顶高原。

Unbelievable is after I reach the mountain , whole Cameron Highland is totally big and it is out of my expectation. Pretty, peaceful, calm and just like a heaven. If I could , I sure live here with family and the person who I love.
简直不相信的是,我到了山上后,整个金马仑高原非常大,出乎意料之。这里美,静,稳,就像是个天堂一样。如果可以的话,我一定带我的家人和我爱的人一起来住。

Cameron Highland have a lot of garden , farm , market , flora and fauna too. I managed to get a lot of pictures more on flower, it is truly a beauty at this beautiful land in the mountain. I also have visited some places like the temple , cafe and other.
金马仑高原有很多花园,菜园,巴刹,和大自然美景。我还好摄下很多珍贵镜头,大多数是花,因为在此地它是个真正的美。我也参观了一些地方如庙,茶亭和其他。

Before this trip ended , we've managed to get to Ipoh and have some dinner there , this time I have conquer 5 bowl of big rice for no problem. Cleanup all the food on the table , everybody was full. Overall, it is a really fun and peaceful trip I ever had.
在旅程还为结束之前,我们还好逗留在怡保去吃晚餐,这次我成功占领了5碗大饭,清除桌上所有的食物,全部人也吃到饱了~总结来说,这个旅程真的开心和平静的一个旅程。

Ceremony of Pavillion KL - The World Best Retail Store
















Thanks to PhotoMalaysia , Mr.Teng Wei , I have opportunity to join this first time super high class event that held at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
多谢庭伟先生,多谢PhotoMalaysia, 让我有机会第一次踏上在吉隆坡Pavilion购物中心的超高级的盛会。

First time ever , I was quite nervous. Never see such high class people there and a lot of famous people or well-known people attend this event. Once more , I'm glad to be taking photograph at here too !
第一次,感觉很紧张。从来没参加过高级盛会的我,看到很多名人都出席这项盛会。另外,我更是有机会在这里拍摄!

When Minister of Federal Territories arrived , I was the same person I am , speed up my leg and get the first shot as fast as I can . Even attend this event also have current Ministry of Tourism, Datuk Ng Yen Yen , a fascinating appearance for Datuk. Every main character giving their speech, and have awarded the Pavilion KL as the World Best Retail Store.
当直辖区部长来到,我还是以我的老脾性,加速得到第一手照片。当中出席这个盛会也有旅游部长,拿督黄燕燕,让整个盛会增添不少光彩。每个主要人物都给了他们的演讲,就颁发Pavilion KL 为世界最佳连锁购物中心。

Besides, I also meet my favourite host and TV news reporter , Mr. Raymond Goh. What an honour! I love the way he host, I also learn from him actually.
另外,我也会见了我最喜欢的电视新闻主持人,Raymond Goh 先生。真是荣幸!我很喜欢他的主持方式,我长久以来都是以他做榜样。

Overall, all this event , I'm glad to take the guests and ambassador's photo. I'm honoured that I can attend this such a great event. I will never forget about it.
总结来说,我很开心的拍下很多嘉宾和大使们的照片。我也很荣幸的说,我能出席这个超好的盛会。永远都不会忘记。

ISA Demonstration - My first ever experience with media
















One day, after I shoot the my model at UTAR studio room. I'm very tired then when back home, but I heard a news that all Masjid Jamek and SOGO area is totally in "locking" condition. I'm pretty sure anti-ISA campaign is start for a long time.
有一天,我从我学校的摄影室拍完照后就回家,途中竟然是在占米尔回教堂处全线封锁状态,我已经知道,反内安法令已经展开已久。

Since I have the camera , then I follow the media from a lot of newspaper and even TV station like TV3, 8TV, and the RTM news too. Luckily I have my photographer vest to defend any attack. Besides, this is the first time ever I challenge photojournalism, and the most dangerous job I ever gone through.
反正我有相机在手,我就趁这机会和一大班媒体一起出征,来自多个报馆和电视台如第三电视,8度空间,国营电视台也前来采访。幸好,我身上有摄影战袍能抵挡很多类型的攻击。另外,我也是第一次在现场拍摄新闻似照片,而且有时最危险的工作之一。

"Curiosity kill cat" , I use every gut that I have , run through every corner of Masjid Jamek and SOGO area, where there is the highly dangerous area for the demonstrator. According source, there is anti-ISA and pro-ISA, so the situation will be tight and dangerous anytime. But my heart told me, I knew that I can survive this horrible situation ever.
所谓好奇心驱使下,我用尽我所有的胆量,在拥有众多示威者的高度危险区,也就是占米尔回教堂和SOGO一带纵横四处。据了解,这次的示威有反内安法令者和支持内安法令者,情况会更加随时紧张和危险。我的心告诉我,我一定能在这次恐怖的活动中生存的。

Non-stop running, evasive action , finally capture a lot of photo that tells the story to everyone. Photo also tells a lot of story in this activity. I'm glad that I'm successfully survive and returning home safely. I'm also glad that I'm still here to write this story to you. I will keep on my journey of photographing.
不停地跑,回避,终于捕捉了很多珍贵的镜头向大家讲述图片中的故事。图片也提到很多关于这次活动中的点滴。我很庆幸我能生存和成功回到家。我很庆幸的为了你写了很多故事。我会继续我的摄影旅程。

Ambernie finally return !










Didn't write the blog for few months, finally I get the chance to here and write.
没写部落格这么久了,终于有机会在这里写了。

Well, the first story I want to bring for you all is Ambernie Liew's story. After 1 years of hiding, finally she is return back for action. I'm glad to see her once again on Sunday 4 October 2009.
那我第一个要带来的故事,首先将焦点锁定在美莹的故事了。已经一年没见过她了,现在终于回来了!无比高兴~!很开心能在10月4日与她重逢。

Luckily I knew that there is a photoshooting session from my friend, Sherman. Well, I was felt happy but just about financial problem. I swear I want to meet her one more time.
幸好我得知我的好友,Sherman有一个摄影环节将会有Ambernie助阵。但是,人就那么开心但就是钱的问题。我还是发誓我一定要再次见到她。

Have a tea break and lunch with all photographer, I'm just stuck at the corner with friends like Max, Caravan Duke ( Anson ) , Tommy Tan, and Zakaria ( Zack ), when Ambernie came, just have a look. She was accompany by her "friend" or "boyfriend" I don't know. I just silent only.
When Sherman shout my name, I only knew that I must say "Hello" to Ambernie, as a result, I'm just quite shy to talk her, well, may be because ..... a lot of reason.
与所有摄影人喝下午茶,我呢~就坐在最角落,与安顺,Max, Tommy, Zakaria等人一起谈天。当美莹来了后,只是看了看而已。好像有她的朋友,还是男朋友也不得而知,陪她一起来,我只是静静地坐着不动。当Sherman喊我的名字时,才知道我是时候向美莹打招呼了。开始觉得有点害羞,因为....很多原因吧~

The whole photoshooting process is a success , I'm interact with other photographer and Ambernie very well. And Ambernie also very sweet too ! I got her a lot of cute and serious pose too. Overall, I'm felt satisfied although I thought that my shooting mood is not in good condition.
Still, I'm really glad that Ambernie finally return to the stage of modelling once again. If I have chance, I want to meet her one more time.
整个摄影过程都进展顺利,而且我和其他摄影人与美莹沟通得很好。而且她也很可爱极了呢!还捕抓到很多可爱和认真的镜头。总结来说,觉得很满意,只是暂时性没有摄影感而已。我还是对美莹重踏模特儿界舞台而感到无比的安慰和兴奋。有机会,我好想再次见到她。

Long Time No Update

It's been a while, 3 months I think, busy for assignment, busy for photoshoot, busy for everything, almost come to the end, but not so fast yet.

Just a small small post on my blog. Which not fully updated yet, but, there is a lot of story want to tell about. I never have chance to say it out since the time is limited.

A Small Gathering of 5S7 CHKL @ MidValley



















Old friends is still old friends. Long time we never see each other since we left the school. Until 2009, we finally reunite again. Although less, but it feels more better.
老朋友始终是老朋友。当我们离开校园后,很久不见的我们,到了2009年,终于见面了。虽少,但感觉良好。
Well, we have eat, talk, walk. And me of course addicted on shooting some subject for no purpose.
我们有吃,喝,和走。当然我也无目的地拍摄。
Fun always arrounding when we gather together and talk.










Photoshoot with PeiPei and Yvonne

Well, I started with this photoshoot by said, we all arrived early at Maluri, Cheras for photoshoot with Pei Pei and Yvonne.
那我先由我们到了马鲁里的Pizza Hut 那里说起,我们都很早就到了就是等Pei Pei 和 Yvonne 一起来拍照。

In this case, we have waited Roger Ong, our organizer of the photoshoot as well as one of my friend though for so long until his car arrived with 2 pretty model.
在这件事里,我们就等黄先生,我们这次摄影的主办人兼其中一位朋友,等了好久终于等到他的车带着两位美丽的模特儿。

This time the theme is still Roger's favourite theme, Abandon House. It may sounds horrible, dirty, wet, scattering, harsh, but it is a challenge to the models and photographers.
这次的主题为“废置的房屋”,也是黄先生的最爱。听起来有点恐怖,肮脏,潮湿,乱七八糟,凌乱,但对摄影人和模特儿来说是个挑战。

Well, this time I communicated well with the models and as well I have take a chance to get close to know these models, as well as new friends of photographers.
这次我也成功与模特儿沟通,也趁这机会认识这两位美丽的模特儿,和其他摄影人。

Honestly, the terrain of the abandon house is quite a bit hard for me to walk , but I'm use to it when walk at kampung area. Suddenly, I'm turn to be an assistant for Pei Pei to assist her and walk through the harsh terrain, that time I felt nervous ( I don't know how to describe "nervous" is )
老实说,废置的房屋的地形也有点难走,但也习惯了,在乡村时也时常这样跑。但,在那时候,我竟然变成了佩佩的私人助理,扶着佩佩走过一些难走的地面。之后感觉有点紧张(我不知如何描述那种紧张感)。

Overall of the photoshoot, walk, sit, knee-ing, lay down, every kind of motion I have try to capture, explore different angle, keep on compose the photo composition, look at the "angel" eyes. It is a big success to me after learn the lesson last time I shoot at P.D with Carace and Elliana, and sure must put everything that I learn on Pei Pei and Yvonne's photoshoot.
总体来说,每一个摄影的动作都用得七七八八,探索不同的角度,想着如何构思照片,还有与模特儿沟通眼神。这一次是一个大跃进,成功的一次,自从吸取上一次在波德申海滩与霜华和Eliana拍照时的教训,这次更要发挥得淋漓尽致。

A big thanks to Roger Ong and all the photographers who works together with me to shoot a massive great picture. Besides, the whole photoshoot with highest honour sure is Pei Pei and Yvonne. They have done a great job and I'm absolutely addicted and love them very much.
